Raw material (steel coil) → uncoiling → shearing and end welding → material accumulating → non-power leveling → mill-forming → high-frequency welding → removing burrs outside of weld seam → cooling → sizing → roughly straightening → fixed length cutting → finishing tube

Principle

High-frequency welding principle -

With the skin effect of high-frequency current, the high-frequency energy can be concentrated on the surface of the weldment, and the proximity effect can be used to control the position and range of the high-frequency current flow path. When high-frequency current is required to focus on a part of a weldment,this requirement can be achieved by forming a current loop between the conductor and the weldment and bring the conductor close to this weldment part so that they form a contiguous conductor with each other.High-frequency welding is based on the specific form of weldment structure and special requirements, main using effect and proximity effect so that the weldment can be welded by the surface of the metal quickly heated.


Two effects of High-frequency welding of high-frequency current:
Skin effect - a physical phenomenon when the conductor through the AC current,the current cross section of the conductor uneven distribution,the current density gradually increased from the conductor center to the surface,most of the current only flow along the surface of the conductor. The lower of conductor resistivity, the more permeability, the higher frequency of the current, the more signifi that its skin effect attend.
Proximity Effect - a special physical phenomenon when a high-frequency current flows reversely between two conductors or in a reciprocating conductor, current concentrates flows on the vicinity of the conductor.
The current frequency common range used for high frequency welding is 300-450kHz, sometimes it can use as low as 10kHz.


The feature of High Frequency welding:
1.The current highly concentrate on welding area,heating rate is extremely fast so the welding speed 150-200m/min.
2.Because of high speed welding speed and the cooling rate of welding parts is strong therefore not only Heating zone is small also not easily oxidized so the mircrostructure and property of welding seam is excellent.
3.The surface of welding parts don’t need to be clean so working effiency will be high.
4.Wide range of metal can be welded ,used for welding different shape and specificaiton .
