Thrust Tapered Roller Bearings Thrust tapered bearings include rollers that have conical sections. The bearing design ensures a true rolling motion for maximum bearing life and load-carrying capacity. TTHD-Thrust Heavy Duty Bearing TTHD bearings consist of two thrust races, a set of rollers and a cage. This design can create up to 40 percent more capacity than cylindrical and spherical bearings with the same envelope dimensions. The configuration of TTHD bearings creates a benefit called true rolling motion. The extensions of the raceways and rollers converge at a common point (the apex) on the axis of rotation. TTHDFL,TTHDFLSA-Thrust V-Flat Tapered Roller Bearing The TTHDFL V-Flat bearing design includes one flat washer and one with a tapered raceway matching the rollers. This bearing type has exceptional dynamic capacity within a given envelope and provides static capacity. Most sizes utilize cages with hardened pins through the center of the rollers, allowing closer spacing of the rollers to maximize capacity. The TTHDFLSA V-Flat bearing design includes one flat washer and one with a tapered raceway matching the rollers. The lower washer is constructed of two pieces to permit self-alignment under initial alignment conditions. This bearing type has exceptional dynamic capacity within a given envelope and provides static capacity.
